Hope everyone had a great summer. Right now Corkscrew is working on some new
gig dates. This Saturday in Southington we'll be appearing at Sam the Clam's. Hope to

Welcome back to corkscrewtheband.com! Just some quick updates today:
Corkscrew is happy to announce that we've been invited back to The Legendary Dean's
in Naugatuck for another show on 7/11. We had a great time and we're looking
forward to seeing everyone again. Make sure you wish guitarist, saxophonist, and
lifelong resident of The 'Tuck Mark Wilcox a happy birthday that night.
I apologize for the error, but our show at Pete's in August was previously
listed as the 17th. I updated the show list with the correct date, which is
August 23rd. So the correct info is Pete's in West Haven, CT on 8/23/08.

Thanks a lot to everyone that came out for our show at The Legendary Dean's
in Naugatuck this past weekend. We had a great crowd with great energy and everyone
had a blast. The recording should be available on the archive.
The Spinstock show is now available on the archive.
Once again we'd like to say, "Thank you," to the organizers and attendees of the 11th Annual Spinstock Family Reunion
for inviting us to play, and for putting together a weekend full of great music.

Two new performances just in! Corkscrew will be appearing at Dean's in Naugatuck on
5-17 and once again at Pete's in West Haven on 8-16. We're all excited about Friday's
performance at Spinstock. Hope to see you all there!
Corkscrew's gig at Pete's from 4-19 is now available on archive.org.
In the future our archive on corkscrewtheband.com will have complete show info and additional
sound clips to download. Until then, stay tuned and check Corkscrew's profile frequently for new shows.
Due to unfortunate circumstances the show from Ditto's this past weekend was not recorded and subsequently will
not be available for download.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight at Ditto's! Corkscrew will be playing
from around 11:00 until close. Order one of the specialty pizzas. Seriously.
In other news the gig in Wallingford at George's II on 5/16 has been cancelled. We apologize
to the thousands of Wallingford residents who camped out in the rain to buy tickets to our
show. I know, it's a bummer.
